About the Valley of Bay City

The mission of the Valley of Bay City: Inspire our members by emphasizing our Core Values: Reverence for God, Devotion to Country, Integrity, Justice, Toleration, and Service. Ensure that activities are convenient. Provide enjoyable programs and fraternal fellowship. Some of our activities include:
  • Two Reunions per year, during which members view and participate in allegorical presentations. In addition, other festivities are scheduled, including a luncheon, social hour, and banquet.
  • The Educational Guild, an educational discussion group which presents varied Masonic topics of interest for discussion and contemplation.
  • The Annual Couples’ Night Dance
  • The Scottish Rite Walk-A-Thon, a charity that raises money to support the Children’s Dyslexia Center.
  • The Honors Picnic, where awards are presented to students of the Children's Dyslexia Center, and College Scholarships are presented to winning applicants.
  • Hockey and Baseball Game Outings. Members can attend Midland Loons or Detroit Tigers baseball games, and/or Saginaw Spirit and Detroit Red Wings games.
